LIVE JIVE is a benefit CD pulled from an incredible music archive that includes hundreds of KSAN live broadcasts.

These recordings have never been available on CD or MP3 before. What you’ll hear on LIVE JIVE #1 is historic musical rarities from the late 1960‘s and 1970‘s by some of the most important musical artists of a generation, as heard on the definitive free-form FM rock station: Santana, The Grateful Dead, Doobie Brothers, Jesse Colin Young and many more.

Proceeds from the KSAN LIVE JIVE project will go to the California Historical Radio Society and the Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame. CHRS is a educational non-profit corporation chartered in 1974 for the restoration and preservation of early radio and radio broadcasting.
